Friday Flash of Fame

I have featured my nephew Evan, the 19-year-old owner/operator of the MOO Food Truck, in a previous post. Today he has elevated from being “mentioned” to full-blown Star status.

That’s right folks, look who was featured not only in, but on the COVER of Bucks Life Magazine. A young Entrepreneur starting his own business in a poor economy, with much success I might add.  There was some other guy who started a business in a poor economy…hmm, what’s his name again? Oh yea, that’s right…..Bill Gates!

Having an idea, putting it into motion and watching it blossom into what you could only imagine is pretty cool if you ask me. Of course, his relentless persistence also had a hand in bringing this dream to life. Having a thought at 11 years old and making sure everyone you come in contact with knows about it until your 18…really has its perks.

Evan has been a food snob since his diapers days. Lets just say, he could easily be that child on the cover of TIME, and we’ll leave it at that. He spent his toddler years wearing the title “picky eater” until he manifested himself into what we see today. A young man who is conscious of what he eats, where it comes from, how it is raised or grown and the effect it has on his community. Basically he has elevated his “picky eater” title to “food conscious” and he wears it very well indeed.

By incorporating these beliefs into his business, he is able to provide his customers with a unique product. Evan will not serve his customers anything he wouldn’t eat himself and that is where we all benefit. His high standards are a very healthy alternative, especially when you are craving a burger and fries.

MOO Meal

All of the ingredients down to the bun on MOO are local. The burgers are made from 100% grass-fed beef that is ground daily. The fries or the Sexiest Spuds in the world, as we like to call them, are  hand-cut and made to order.  Don’t fret, the vegetarian community can also satisfy their taste buds with a mixed salad made with local greens and Evan’s own dressing.

Aside from giving your taste buds something to talk about, MOO is also supporting our Local Farmers…one customer at a time.

So, if you are ever in Buck County, PA., make sure you swing by to satisfy your buds. You can find more information at the following link. TheMOOTruck

    1. He is amazing and not just in this business, but as a human being. He struggled so hard academically, so school was never easy for him. Most likely due to all those conformed ways. He is an artist in every sense of the word!

    1. Oh Dear Lord if I tell him that a vintage modella said it is a “great cover” …. there are no words for his reaction. He is so vintage and clearly born in the wrong century!

    1. He is so creative, therefore academics were always a challenge for him. He is an artist to the core, so it was Rhode Island School of Design or the Dream..I’m so glad he went with the Dream.
Today at Whole Foods there was a girl that looked like your photo….I almost asked..”are you Miss Four Eyes?”

  5. Impressive! Nothing like a good burg and fries on wheels. Rock on to chasing the dream. And I bet the Moo Food Truck would be a hit in Providence at both RISD and Brown.
